Day 1 – look up information and write it in your own words. Save that in a word document to YOUR files. Make sure you know where you saved it!!!
Day 2 – finish looking up information and writing text. IF you have time, look for visuals. Email your text and pictures to Ms. Brodie…bbrodie@sover.net also print out a hard copy and pass in.
Day 3 - Prezi making – we will be working on making the prezi together in class.

Countries: You are studying Argentina
Please prepare a brief report with at least 3 pictures answering the following questions. We will be presenting the reports during the final week of the semester.
Geography: Luke and Ava
1. What is the name of your country and where is it located? Please describe which countries surround it.
2. What is the size and population of your country in relation to either another Latin American country or Vermont. For instance, if your country has 20 million people, that is more than 20 times the population of Vermont. Or if your country is slightly larger than another country mention it. Please do not just give the square miles without relating it to another country.
3. What of the geography of your country like? Does it have a long coast line? Are there any important features in your country such as a volcano, mountain range, river or waterfall that is a very important feature of the country? Are there parts of your country that are very touristic? Why

4. What is the climate of your country. Is it the same all over your country? For instance, do they have a rainy season and a dry season, or do they have a summer and winter? Is there a coastal region which is very tropical and a mountain region where it is always cool?
5. What are the crops of your country what kinds of foods do they eat traditionally. Does the weather affect the crops and the foods they eat? What crops do they export? Do they have major industries that are related to agriculture? What are other important aspects of their economy?
6. Are there special types of animals in your country? Are they and important part of the economy in any way?

7. What are their special holidays or customs in your country? Please describe them with some detail. For instance, if in your country they have a special holiday, please describe what they do on that holiday which makes it unique to your country…(IE every Latin American country celebrates Christmas (Navidad), but they might have different customs surrounding it.
8. Which sports are really important to their country? Once again, try and mention something specific about that. (think both about individual and team sports) Are there any famous athletes from your country?

9. How old are students when they go to school? How old are they when they graduate? Are there universities in your country? Is schooling mandatory? What does their school day look like (how long and what do they study)?
10. What do youths do for fun in your country? How old do they need to be to drive? What kind of music do they listen to? Do they watch television and movies? What do people in your country do for enjoyment? Do they have “telenovelas” (Spanish soap operas)?

11. Why would you like to visit this country? Please wrap up your paper with why you would like to visit the country and add some specific reasons.
