digital learning environment assessment

Artifact: Assessing Digital Learning Environment

Overview:

This artifact is a digital learning assessment I created with the help of a Digital Learning Committee when I was an Instructional Technology Coordinator.

Reflection:

House Bill 5 Introduced a new component to the state accountability system that required each district to report to Texas Education Agency and make publicly available a selfevaluation of the district. This document lists assessment instruments that we used to collect data from in order to guide digital learning use in the district.

assessing true technology integration

Artifact: True Technology Integration

Overview:

This artifact is a four-part webinar series that I have conducted for TCEA's certification programs. The purpose of this webinar is for teachers to evaluate and assess technology integration in the classroom.

Reflection:

This artifact is important in that it helps teachers assess technology use in the classroom. Once teachers identify strategies for evaluating technology in the classroom, they can do a self-assessment. This self-assessment will give them a clear picture on their use of technology in the classroom.
