Artifact: Alternative Assessment Presentation
Overview:
This artifact is part of a presentation I conducted at the Innovative Learning Strategies Conference. The goal was to help teachers use digital tools for alternative assessments and reflection.

Artifact: Capture Student Learning: ePortfolios with Google Sites
Overview:
This artifact is a presentation I conducted on how teachers can use ePortfolios as an alternative assessment. The tool we learned how to use was Google Sites.
Reflection:
Portfolios show the cumulative efforts and learning of a particular student over time. I believe they offer valuable data about student improvement and skill mastery. Along with student reflection, that data provides valuable information about how each student learns and what is important to him or her in the learning process.
Artifact: Alternative Assessment Rubric
Overview:
This artifact is an alternative assessment rubric I created for a poetry eBook activity.
Reflection:
This artifact will give students a clear understanding of how they are being graded on their eBook creations. The heading on the rubric range from Novice to Exemplary. Each learning objective has an indicator of success. Stating the objective helps ensure that the eBook is aligned to the objectives.
