VR & AR

Notes on using VR or AR in Revit and Sketchup

Revit

Modelo

Interesting way and so easy to use

Sketchup

VRsketch

Another easy to use plugin with a free intro period, but will ultimately convert to a paid for item

Revit to Vray to cardboard

Interesting method but not a public view

Enscape a high end plugin that is used by some very large Architectural Practices

Lumion Not so much VR more a 3D rendered video, but very well done

Google Earth VR a great way to view your site and see the area as a VR model in almost any headset.

Google Street View VR Another way to view your site this time as street View. I use this a lot to see sites, ok its just as easy to use on your scree, but VR is just another level.

Storage

This presents a bit of a problem, but a lot of the apps or plugins above support Google Drive and or Dropbox

Google Sites:

I use Google Sites to make up a lot of my web pages and I find that Google Drive is easiest to sort and give public download service.

Dropbox

Easy to use and store, it also has easy to use view only share features, \this link takes you to a simple VR folder
