CAD

CAD is almost the defacto means of producing any form of drawing for use in the construction industry. There are still one or two practices that still insist on paper, but by enlarge the majority use CAD in one for or another.

There are a variety of programs on the market, and which one you use depends largely on your own personal preferences. Sharing, add ons, cost, training and ease of use.

Sketchup and Autocad have both extended their programs use with online versions via your prefered web browser, I use Chrome and both work fairly well.
