You may be asking why use a T square, well it's all about training the mind to think as a technologist, understanding a detail, the sequence of operation or the way materials are laid down or used.

Your Moleskin

Get used to the idea of using a good quality note book. I like the Moleskin, simple because of the paper quality. but any good notebook will do, Practice sketching, and always turn to your book to expand on a good idea or detail.
