Introduction

E Kali Demokratija is a small island nation made up of escaped romani people that were shipped to the moon by the German Moon Society. While most groups went south, east, or west, the Romani, alongside a large group of Bulgarians fled northwards. However, where the Bulgarians stopped, the Romani went much beyond. Settling throughout the Silverhill Republic and even ending up as far north as Darwin. In 2116, the Romani Peoples Council became mainstream and dealt primarily with finding the Romani peoples a new Homeland. They found it in what used to be the New scilly Islands. Following the effective takeover of the islands by the Romani, no nation recognised their independence and they struggled under a trade blockade. Eventually, Darwin and Victoria gave up on their blockades. The Victorian and Darwinian people had gotten tired of their governments wasting money on causing innocent people harm. Following the removal of the blockade, it took a mere three decades for a majority of nations to recognise the newly independent state.
