Lāla Samabhūmi (2074-2309)
Introduction
Lāla Samabhūmi is much like its Indonesian neighbour in the east. Here, large lead and gold mines dotted the countryside, fuelling a hard labour society. With the white upperclassmen generally opposing doing this work, the British Rocketry Agency installed greater rocketry sites within the Crown colony of the British Raj. Shipping tens of thousands of Indians to the moon, the British were for a short time able to not just satisfy but exceed demand for rare earths. This, however, caused hyperinflation to set in within the British Lunar Colonies. Over the course of the next few decades, the many states returned to their pre-crash prosperity, but Lāla Samabhūmi stayed neglected. This neglect of a densely populated state soon led to widespread riots, riots that would soon take hold of all of the Red Fields region.
