Introduction

São Francisco is a considerably large lunar city that has a history of conquest and being conquered. In the early days of colonisation, it often was victorious. Being a consolidated proper state surrounded by far away borderlands and wildstates, it usually had little to no issue procuring the small arms and few rovers necessary to expand and defend. This, however, did not help them against larger true colonies like Nova Coimbra. Nova Coimbra had a large up-to-date rover stock that steamrolled the small Brazilian garrison. Though Nova Coimbra managed to hold the city for a considerably long time, following the collapse of Greater Victoria, the city would regain its appetite for independence. Though a mere decade and a half after finally gaining independence from Nova Coimbra, it'd fall to Avalon. The fletching nation had neither the funds nor the established institutions necessary to put up proper resistance, and while it'd ultimately regain independence in 2281, it'd be at the cost of much of its southern coast.
