Introduction

Pegunungan Ungu is a nation that stems from the 6th Achter Kader Expeditie. These expeditions were to the far side of the moon and were part of the larger, ore Great European Crisis colonial efforts of the Netherlands. This colony in particular was used as a hard labour site, a common practice throughout the Red Fields. For this reason, bioforming missions here were less intensive here, resulting in Lunar lifeforms persisting in the region. Another consequence of the hard labour history of this site was the large forced movement of Indonesian peoples to this area.

The people here, alongside the people of the whole Red Fields region, went through a period of rioting during the 2060s. These riots were fuelled by the quest for greater workers' rights, be it in the form of state unions, democratized workplaces, or others. Many of the elites in Pegunungan Ungu fled to nearby states, making it the first nation to fall to the red menace.
