Annually throughout the state, students participate in the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) state assessment. IAR assesses student progress in meeting the Illinois Learning Standards in English language arts and mathematics.
On March 29, 30, & 31, we will be IAR testing following the same testing schedule each day. We will host a morning IAR testing session on March 29, 30 & 31 from 8:45-9:55 a.m. and in the afternoon from 1:20-3 p.m. Due to IAR testing, we will not host Advisory class on Thursday, 3.31.
What will your child need for IAR testing on March 29, 30, & 31?
Their school laptop
Their school charger
Headphones (Bluetooth headphones will not work with the software.)
A good nights sleep
If you would prefer your child not participate in IAR testing, please email Ms. France at francesm@unit5.org.
Optional Spring Pictures will take place during P.E. classes for students & families who would like to participate. Students need to tell their P.E. teacher that they want to get their photo taken & P.E. teachers will direct students to the photographer. Spring Pictures do not appear in the Yearbook.
If you wish to order pictures, your student may pick up an order form in the main office. Or, you may log onto mylifetouch.com and order online. The Picture Day code is EVT79ZX9D.
