Tutoring Services

Texas State Technical College cares about student success. To assist our students from the first semester through the last, the college offers a variety of support with academic and technical subjects. In addition, the colleges offer computer and study labs to help provide a quiet place to study. 

Tutorial services are directed toward student success. We offer opportunities to be partners in the learning environment, with on-going training for peer tutors and tutors with national peer tutoring certification. Reasons for seeking tutoring include difficulty understanding course material, desire to improve grades and wanting tips on how to study effectively. 

Peer tutoring is a program to help students who require additional assistance in academic subjects. Students are tutored by upper level students who have successfully completed the course.
