All Core Staff shall read a document (to be selected by the Legal Compliance Manager) in order to become familiar with legal requirements and limits on nonprofit activity, such as rules against making statements to endorse or oppose a candidate for public office, rules governing the solicitation of charitable donations, and rules regarding commercial activities by nonprofits. All staff shall inform the Legal Compliance Manager about any activities that they believe could bring up questions related to legal compliance.
