In a distributed workplace it’s important to create clear and open communication channels between co-workers. At SELC, we utilize our task management software, Asana, to stay informed of each other’s planned daily activities. Each staff member is asked to provide an overview of tasks they are working on at least once a week. It is suggested that weekly task updates be uploaded by the end of the day on the first workday of the week. Staff have the flexibility to upload tasks more regularly, e.g. on a daily basis, if they so choose.
