Level 2 English Language

Why should you take this course?

This course provides opportunities for English Language learners to continue acquiring knowledge and skills in English as a language through vocabulary acquisition, listening, reading, speaking, and writing. At the same time, it provides learners with opportunities to gain some credits for their Level 2 NCEA, University Entrance literacy, and course endorsement, especially for those who may aspire to go to university. The course therefore combines both English Language unit standards and English achievement standards, and  it offers multiple pathways depending on the ability and aspirations of the learners.
