Physical Education is unique because it involves moving around in the Recreation Centre, in the Fitness Suite and on the field, not just sitting in a classroom; although there is theoretical learning.
You will have the opportunity to gain 20 credits. 10 of these credits will be done as internals and 10 of these credits will be completed as externals.
Over the course you will learn more about yourself and the importance of Physical Education in your everyday lives. Not only will you play a wide range of physical activities and sports you will develop your interpersonal skills with your classmates!

Level 1 Physical Education offers a total of 20 credits:

Apply movement strategies in an applied setting.
Demonstrate understanding of how kotahitanga is promoted in movement through application of strategies
Demonstrate understanding of the influence of a personal movement experience on hauora
Demonstrate understanding of influences on movement in Aotearoa New Zealand or the Pacific
