Covid-19 Visual Responce

For the Covis- 19 Visual Response project I drew a hand sanitizer bottle wearing a face mask. To make it I used a pencil, an eraser, a black marker, three different shades of blue marker, and grey marker. For references I looked up photos of hand sanitizer bottles and photos of face masks. I was able to easily do this project from the materials I had from home and still make a good project.

To make this project I first looked at other students art work to gat an idea. I had an idea early on to do something with hand sanitizer I just didn't know what to add to the hand sanitizer. Then I got the idea to do a mask. I next looked up photos of hand sanitizer and facemasks. Once I got an idea of how I wanted it to look I drew. it out. Once I liked the way it looked I grabbed my markers. I stattre with a shade of blue in the bottle to represent the hand sanitizer. I then took a darker shade for the empty space in the bottle. I then used that same color to do the dots and the outlines of the mask. I then used a light blue to do the color of the mask. Once that was done I did the grey as the strings of the mask and outlined the bottle in black.

This was a decently easy and fun project. It was a good ideas to have us draw based on what is going on in the world. There isnt too much meaning behind this other than like we are the hand sanitizer bottle just trying to stay clean and safe. If I were to do this project again instead of doing a blue in the bottle I would do like pink or orange and give the bottle a flavor so that the mask and the bottle didnt look the same.
