multiple pinch pots

For this project I had to use 6 or more pinch pots and make something. I ended up making a panda bear.

To start of I make and connected the two pinch pots to make the stomach of the bear. I then smoothed it out. I then made the head of the bear and smoothed it out. ai then cut a tiny bit out of the bos=dy circle so that the head fit right it and looked normal. I them connected the head and the body. I also flattened out the bottom of the panda so it would sit better. I then used tiny pinch pots to make the ears and attach them. This however proved to be quite difficult and took some time. I then make 4 coils to make the arms and legs. Once attached the legs looked to thin so I got a slab of clay and laid it on both of the legs to make it look thicker. I then smoothed over everything to make it look better. I then used glaze HF-1 and HF-11.

I do like how this pot turned out. There were a few bumps in it that I forgot to smooth out and the glazing with two different colors and not having them mix was hard but other than that I think it turned out well.
