Candy Still life

For the candy still life drawing I took sheet with candy on it, I enlarged it, i then drew it.

To draw the candy I first took a little sheet of paper and some candy. I used M and M’s and Sour Patch Kids. I arranged them onto a sheet of paper and glued them down.I then took a bigger piece of paper and drew a border. I then used a pencil to draw out the candy on to the paper. I then used chalk pastel and used it to shade the candy. I then used water color to make the background so that there would be no white space.

Next time I would not use chalk pastel because it smeared easily. I would also use more candy so that I would not have to color the background.
