What guided my artwork was the Donate Life prompt. The goal of this project was to come up with a catchy line to help convince teenagers to become organ donors when they are getting their licenses. Every entry had to include the phrase something along the lines of "consider organ and tissue donation" the rest of the project was up to us.

To start this project, we had to come up with a phrase that supported the overarching theme of donating organs. Then based on that we would start designing what our artwork would look like. This includes choosing the materials. Then, putting down the first coats and second coats. Adding textures and highlights.

What changed my idea from the beginning into the final product was that it was not how I would have liked for the shell to look. I wish I found a way to put more dimension into it, and the same for the wave.  I was having a hard time doing the ski and merging the colors but still keeping the colors the right shade. I wish that I had let the layers dry and then added more on top to make it less swishy and blended. Overall, everything came out relatively how I would have liked it to.
