The main idea that guided my artwork was to create something based off a picture of four pieces of candy.  The goal was to make it look real and have layers as if it was coming off the page. My goal was for most of them to look like the snickers but the others didn't come out exactly how I wanted them too.

This art work was made by choosing four pieces of candy and arranging them on the table with a backdrop and a light. After getting a picture, we printed it out. Then, I began sketching the outline of the candys. Later, I added color and then shadows. After, I colored in a background and added a background.

The process I went through was picking the candy that I would want to draw. This decision was based on what candy I like. After I chose what "formation" the candy would be in. That shouce was random for the most part. After taking a picture of the candy, printing it, and sketching out the outline, I chose what I wanted to use for color.  I chose colored pencils because I thought it would be easiest to add layers and draw the labels on the candy.
