The idea that guided my whatchamadrawit was to really express the imagery I was trying to portray by adding all the different colors. I had an idea that I wanted the tiger to be skating into the sunset and I tried to portray that by adding the little yellow sun just gently going down. I really wanted this art piece to look very creative and different than what’d you normally see.

For materials, I used a 2h pencil to outline my drawing. Once I got it to where I liked it, I went over that with ink. I then went in with different colors of watercolor, including, orange, yellow, red, purple, blue, and green. Once that dried I added on the tiger’s stripes and went over the final touches in pen.

The process I went through to get to my final design was a lot of revising. The first few times I penciled out the layout, I did not like how it looked. I went back and fixed my tiger alot. I was struggling with making his arms look more realistic. At the beginning of the process, I did not know where to start. Once I drew the skateboard I just free drew my tiger and the rest of the setting.
