The main idea that guided these art pieces was creating a look of realism the best that I could. Starting my pieces I made sure to be very precise with my lines and press extremely lightly at first. I did a ton of revision and a lot of experimenting with creating these art pieces. The way I choose to go about creating my work was to add in as much creativity that I could while keeping the realism side of the project.
The materials that I used for this piece were graphite, a ruler, and a shading stick. I used a 2h pencil, a 4h pencil, and occasionally a 4b pencil. I used a ruler to make sure my lines were completely straight and even. When my outlining was completed I shaded and made my lines darker with a 4h and 4b pencil and blended my shade marks with a shading stick.
The process I went through to create my final piece was a lot of experimentation and revision. I still was not 100% sure how to go about starting my final piece when it came time to create it. I as well did a ton of revising, erasing, and making new lines to get my final piece how I wanted it. Overall, I am pretty neutral about how this project came out in the end.
