The main idea that guided my artwork was making my lines clear and pronounced. I wanted to create a pretty ocean scene through my prints. I enjoyed creating these blocks and prints.

The materials that I used were linoleum blocks and inks. I started to create my art by sketching on a piece of paper, then transferring that to my block. I then rolled ink onto my block and printed it onto sheets of paper.

The process I went through to create my final pieces was experimentation. I have never used or even heard of linoleum blocks before this project. So I used a lot of guessing in my project. Overall, I liked how these turned out.
