Part Of A Falcon 4.25x4.25
The story behind my art is it is a small piece of a big picture of a falcon. I made this because I go to freeport high school and our mascot is a falcon. And this was a project that everyone had a part of so when everyone did their job it would make the big picture.
The materials I used were blending pencils 2H, 4H, 2B, 6B, 8B. I also used a piece of printer paper with the part of image I was supposed to draw.
The process I used to create my work was starting with a light pencil to trace the darker spots then I filled them in a shaded around them then blended it all together. I experimented with this by trying to use different shades of pencil in spots to lighten it or darken it. At first my project was Around the same shade but I used a 2B pencil and a 6B pencil to darken spots and this made it look way better. My nest steps could be to work more on the shading because in some spots the shading doesn't look like the picture now that I look at it again.
