Moose
The story behind my art is I was trying to think of an animal that is from maine that I can make out of things I find. I decide on a moose because when I'm done with it I want to bring it to my camp where we see lots of moose. I also decide that I want to make this moose mostly out of things you could find in nature.
The materials I used were cardboard from a cereal box to make the skeleton, tin foil to make the insides like the muscle, pine needles to create the fur, Buttons for eyes, and sticks for antlers, I also used hot glue to glue it all together.
I started by creating the shape of the body and legs out of cardboard. Next I covered them all with tin foil to make the insides or muscle. After, I took pine needles and glued them on this took forever but It was worth it. lastly I added some sticks I found for his antlers and two old buttons for eyes. Something I could improve on is hiding some of the glue that you can see from glueing on the pine needles.
