Artist Research Assignment

During this semester in ceramics, we also spent some time researching different ceramics artists. The artist that I choose to research was Brett Kern. I was very drawn to his art I really like how bright and colorful his work was. When I first saw hs work it caught my eye so I decided to research him and learn more about his work.

I didnt expect to do any recherche procects in this class but I liked that we did because I got to learn more about ceramics. One thing that I learned form this was that you can make molds and pour clay into them so you can make multpul of the same thing and it will look excactly the same. Over all I thought that this was a fun project and something different compared to what we would normally do in ceramics class.
