Canada Goose 9x12 - Value Strip 2x2.5
The story behind my art is I took a photo that I took of Spencer mountain at my camp and I took a photo of a goose that is native to the water and I put the goose in the water. I wanted to make sure that the goose was from the area so it looked most realistic.
The materials I used was paper oil pastel and two photos one from the internet and one I took.
I first started by doing a practice paper so I had an idea of what I was doing. Next I started by sketching the goose on the paper so I had an outline. After I started the background of the mountain and land. Next I worked on the goose and the water. The last thing I did was add different shades to the water to make it more realistic. Something I would want to make better is how realistic the goose looks I don't think the feathers look like realistic feathers.
