Shadows And Highlights 9x12 - Candy 9x12

The story behind my art is I took some of my favorite kinds of candys and made a story with them. I tried to make the sour patch kids and swedish fish look like they were eating the twix bar.

The materials I used were candy, watercolor, Watercolor paper, and white pen.

The way I made this was by using Real candy and glueing it to paper to make what I wanted to draw. Then I drew a grid on the paper and the candy and drew the candy according to the grid. after I finished drawing the candy I started watercolor painting the paper to match the candy wrappers. And to make the sugar on the sour patch kids and the highlights I used a white pen. What I could do to improve my art is I could draw more shadows to make the objects look more realistic.
