Abstract Shoe Design

For this project we had to choose an interesting spot on one of our three shoe perspective drawings. We took a view finder and focused on that one interesting space and drew it. Then we took the view finder and put it on the first cropped drawing and we drew the zoomed in area again. We repeated this process three times. Then we chose one of the three drawings that was the most interesting and copied it on a separate piece of paper and we had to turn it into a abstract drawing.

I looked at the paper and I saw something that looked like windows to me so I drew the night sky. As I kept drawing a drew more night sky, but I saw shapes that looked like a road so I drew a road. Then I added a river to fill in the white spaces. I used colored pencils and a regular 2H pencil. I wish I had spent more time on the roads and made my pencil strokes smoother. I really like the way my trees and shading around them turned out.
