Zoomed Shoe

Artist statement

In this project I had to draw three views of a shoe, any shoe. I chose to draw the shoes that I was wearing, I had to then zoom in on different parts of the shoe and make a piece of art out of the zoomed part of the shoe. I chose to do something more abstract, as my part of the zoomed in shoe had three like half circles in it. I used those as kind of different worlds. One the planet of sight, another a sun, and the black one as like a void.

In this project I used many materials including two pieces of 11"x 14" paper. I also used a lighter shade p-enicl fpor the outlines using a 2h pencil, I then used different colored pencils, acrylic paints and markers.

In this piece of art i wanted to add a more abstract feel. So I added manny different things to it that are very different. Like the sun the eyes and the void. I decided to add geometric features to fill in the open white space on my paper. I thought it was almost too bland so I added more colors and more aspects like the Drips from the top of the paper and the triangles in the void.
