Duck Stamp

In this project I had to create duck to enter into the junior duck stamp competition. During this project I chose to draw an American Wigeon. during the process i had to go through steps like creating a very basic outline of the duck with basic shapes like squares, triangles, rectangles. Then after this step I continued to draw a more realistic outline of the duck referencing a photo of an American Wigeon, I then continued to color in and draw the back ground and the duck.

In this project I used a normal 2h pencil to get the outline of the duck and background. Then I used colored pencil to color in the duck and color in the reflection then to speed up the process of the background I used markers.

At first I didn't really know what duck I would choose to draw so I looked at the different available ducks and I decided to choose the one that stood out the most to me.
