Time Capsules

These three drawings are for the time capsule project. We were assigned to draw a picture of a object that was sitting completely still, a self-portrait and a perspective drawing of either like the corner of the room or a hallway within the school. I drew the still life image first, as you can tell I did a fairly simplified version of my laptop. The second drawing I did was a self-portrait, I've never been great at self-portraits but I tried my best and it turned out to be the best self-portrait I've made. Then third I drew the main hallway of FHS, I was fairly confused at first about what exactly a perspective drawing was, but I figured it out and started drawing.

In this small project I had to use three different pieces of 12"x 9" paper and a 2h pencil, one for each drawing. For the self-portrait I used a small mirror with one of the pieces of paper and drew with the pencil and it was the same for the other pieces of artwork as well.

I didn't have to do much thinking on the self-portrait of course it was just a picture of my face, but for the still life I went through a few processes on deciding on an object that I should draw, like thinking on whether I should do my pencil case a water bottle or my laptop but I decided to do my laptop. For the perspective drawing however, I was a little bit confused on whether I should do the doors or not in the hallway or how I was going to draw like where the main office is and stuff like that.
