Realistic self Portrait

Artist Statement

In this project I had to make a realistic self portrait with no outlines or anything. All I had to use was graphite and paper I started off by making a segmented value strip where I was unable to get an image of. Then for the final porject the self portrait I started off by using a ruler creating inch by inch sections and then drew the self portrait section by section until I finished the self portrait and I focused on the accurate and realistic shading with no outline to make it as realistic as possible.

in this project I only used graphite and 11"x14" paper and a ruler. I used the ruler to get 1" x 1" sections all over the paper and then I sued the graphite to draw eveything section by section.
