Colored Candy

Artist Statement

In this project I had to create a drawing of candy with realistic shading. In this project first I had to draw, color and shade spheres with different art materials. For example, Marker, Colored pencil, and watercolor. But in this project I didn't only need to be able to shade with blacks and whites I had to shade with colors. Which was actually much harder than I initially thought. So to get used to shading with color and different materials, I made the spheres. But for the final project I had to pick out different pieces of candy and lay them out in different ways and draw and color them.

in this project I used materials like marker watercolor and colored pencil to shade and color the drawings. I used graphite pencil to initially draw the layout of everything and created a light-shaded oujt line to the get the idea of the shaes then I continued to shade and color the pieces of candy
