In this Project I was asked to make a figure out of at least 5 pinch pots but they all had to be physically connected in some way. My figure had 6 total pinch pots.

During this project I had to make 6 seperate pinch pots, I started off by making the two spheres that are connected to each other vertically, so what I did for both spheres I created two pinch pots, so four in total I then connected two of the pinch pots together which a string of clay which I slip and scored in between each pot and then forged it together to create one sphere. For the design I chose on the pots I got the design from the leaves on top of tomatoes but I didn't want to make a bunch of tomatoes so I made it just a little different. For the tall pot I used a pinch pot at the bottom and then used the coil technique to build up the barrel of the pot. Then when I finished building it up I added just one more pinch pot to top it off which wasn't the original plan. Through the glazing I wanted to same design all the way through so I covered the leaf-like figures in PC-41 glaze and I covered the rest of the figure with SM-10 glaze.

Throughout this project I changed many design elements for example the dome top on top of the tall. pot and the way I stacked the spheres. At first I was going to have one on each side of the tall pot, but instead I decided to have them stack on top of each other and have the leaf-like figure almost disperse over the spheres to make it almost seem like a virus
