Artist Statement

During this project i started a little late causing me to be very crunched on time and rushed. So my thinking was just to do something simple that I could finish quick so I decided to do an assemblage statue of my chocolate lab. Due to me being crunched on time I had to pick a material to add volume to the body that was quick to use so I used paper and masking tape as well as cardboard to outline the shape of the body. After I got the shape of the body down and the volume I wrapped it in more masking tape to give it a slightly smoother surface to paper mache. When I finally got done forming the body I used paper mache to finish it off to give it the color
