scratch board

Scratchboard:

for this scratchboard unit, I did my cat. I had a hard time with grey tones so this piece didn't really revolve as well as I thought it would. I also chose a difficult image because both my cat and the blanket it was wrapped up in are black which makes it hard to see that they are separate from each other. I thought this was fun to do and a great experience, I've never done this type of art before and It was fun to try. Next time I'd probably pick a different image and use different tools for the gray tones. I used scarch board and scratching utensils.
