Doodle for google:
I am calling this project "Everyone deserve an education" because it is for the Doodle for Google competition and the statement is that one day I hope that everyone will have an education. The subject is the Google logo based off of the website. I chose to create this because it is something I hope will happen in the future. For materials I used graphite, colored pencil, and marker. I used a variety of techniques including outlining the world. While creating this work I paid close attention to color by making sure I did not have too much of the same color. I wanted my artwork to look neat I did this by trying to color in the lines. To add interest to the composition I used contrast by using bright colors. I like the way I outlined the continents and I am proud of how it turned out. However I struggled with coming up with ideas for each of the shapes of the letters. If I created another work like this I may add color to the continents. My work shows that I learned how to make something with meaning behind it.
Organ and Tissue donation:
I am calling this project organ and tissue donation because that is what I made it for. The subject is the universe based off of the universe. I chose to create this specific work because I was able to make a catch frase out of it. For materials I used watercolor sharpie pens and paint. I used a variety of different techniques including painting to create the universe. While creating this work I paid close attention to the colors by making sure that it looked somewhat realistic. I wanted my artwork to look interesting and I did that by using colors that symbolize the universe. To add interest to my composition I used white paint to create a bunch of tiny stars by splattering the white on top of the universe. I like the way it turned out and I am proud of the colors. However I struggled with the writing. If I created another work like this I might not draw the planets. My work shows that I learned how to create work based off of a competition.
