Mid-Rank Reviews (NTT)
Mid Rank Reviews must be completed for each faculty member on the non-tenure track in their third full year of employment.
The Saint Louis University Faculty Manual states the following about mid-rank reviews:
The purpose of this review is separate from the annual review but provides a candid peer faculty assessment of the individual’s overall job performance and progress toward achieving future promotion and uses established standards. (Faculty Manual, page 36)
Information and Process:
A spreadsheet listing faculty in each department(s) requiring a mid rank review will be attached and sent via email to Department Chairperson, Department Promotion Committee Chairperson, and Chair Admin.
Using the faculty member’s most current CV, the department promotion committee will compare the CV to the promotion guidelines of the faculty member's appropriate track.
Track can be found in spreadsheet
