2022-12-05: Two Planetary Nebulae in Cassiopeia

I imaged planetary nebulae PN G136.3+05.5 (center) with PN G136.1+04.9 (lower right corner) over four nights from November 5 to November 25, 2022 through a 200 mm aperture, 730 mm focal length F/3.65 Boren-Simon PowerNewton Astrograph with 0.73x focal reducer and coma corrector. The imaging camera was a QSI683wsg-8 with Astrodon II filters and cooled to -15C, with off-axis guiding. The system was mounted on a Losmandy G11G2 equatorial head on a permanent pier. The system was controlled with Sequence Generator Pro and PHD2 and the image was processed in PixInsight. The images were taken from Buford Mountain Conservation Area.

Narrow band Ha: 18 frames x 30 minutes binned 1x1; O3: 20 frames x 30 minutes binned 1x1; R, G, B: 7 frames x 10 minutes binned 2x2. 21 hours of total exposure time.

This planetary nebula is very faint, and barely above background sky brightness.
