I imaged NGC5566 with NGC 5560, NGC5569 and NGC5577 imaged on 28 May 2022 through a 200 mm aperture, 730 mm focal length F/3.65 Boren-Simon PowerNewton Astrograph with 0.73x focal reducer and coma corrector. The imaging camera was a QSI683wsg-8 with Astrodon II filters and cooled to -15C, with off-axis guiding. The system was mounted on a Losmandy G11G2 equatorial head on a permanent pier. The system was controlled with Sequence Generator Pro and PHD2 and the image was processed in PixInsight.
16 Luminance frames x 5 min binned 1x1 and 9 RGB frames x 5 minutes each binned 2x2 for a total exposure of 2 hours 15 minutes. 16 flats, bias and darks frames.
The images were taken at Buford Mt. Conservation Area.
This is a reprocessed image that I originally posted on September 26, 2022.
