I imaged part of the Virgo Galaxy Cluster, centered on NGC4406 M86, during the evening of April 2 - 3, 2016 near Buford Mountain Conservation Area, MO. The image contains more than 25 galaxies of varying types.

The Virgo Galaxy Cluster with NGC4374 M84, NGC4406 M86, NGC4486 M87 and numerous other galaxies imaged with an 80 mm aperture apochromatic refractor and focal reducer at F/4.8 through a Baader UVIR cut filter and using a modified and baffled Nikon D5200 camera, and Baader Hydrogen Alpha 7nm narrow band filter. Mounted on a Celestron AVX mount and autoguided. Total exposure of 60 minutes in 6 light, 6 dark, 10 bias and 10 flat frames at ISO-400. Camera controlled by BackyardNIKON. Stacked in DeepSkyStacker and processed in Photoshop.

~3x Crop of the central region around NGC4406 M86.
