I was camping at 9,100 foot elevation near Buena Vista Colorado over Labor Day weekend. I took some wide angle images with just a 50 mm camera lens. The high altitude and low humidity were fantastic, but there were a few high clouds that drifted by.
This is a wide-angle image of the Sadr region of Cygnus, imaged with a modified Nikon D5200 with UV-IR cut filter and 50 mm Nikkor lens, mounted on an unguided equatorially driven mount. Total exposure time of 25 minutes at ISO-1600 at F/3.2 in 20 sub-frames with 10 dark frames. Stacked in DSS, and processed in Photoshop. The image was taken at September 7, 2015 05:35 UTC.
Deneb is at the upper-right, and Sadr is in the center.
