Congratulations to the MCC and CJCC!

Victorian Champion International Master Kanan Izzat have created history in the traditional Ballarat Begonia Open 2015 edition. He scored 7 points from 7 games and became the first player in the 49 year-old history of this event to score 100%!

For next year, the organisers have big plans and I am sure Victorian Chess Community will come in droves to celebrate the 50th edition of our Premier weekender.

In April many Victorians will be participating at the traditional Doeberl Cup events in Canberra. We wish them well.
