The 2014 Ballarat Chess Club Championship finished with 4 players tying for first place. There is currently a playoff to decide the champion.

The 2014 Ballarat Chess Club Reserves also ended in a tie for first place between James Eyre and Tom Oppenheim. James won the playoff match 3-0.
