No, it's not another woman! (mind you, there's not a queue of women waiting, but there was a rumour he had his eyes on someone in the village by all accounts, no it's one of his new undeclared enterprises, and there he is giving his apprentice Nelson Junior instructions on how to use the water jet).
There's nothing like good old fashioned 'enterprise' and the Fatman certainly believes in that as he enrols his son in a bit of car-washing using the high speed water jet system that uses multi gallons of water by the minute, and we're talking about a hot day here when we're being asked to conserve water.
But with the Captain it's his van and enterprise that comes first while he moderately uses a bucket of soapy water, well, stands by it!
The young teen, Captain Nelson Junior pleases daddy as he engages in a second round of spraying before they go back to some general duties in motor mechanics and wheel changing etc, there's a lot to do!
Whether the business is declared remains uncertain? and that's not either here or there for the Fatman. The Captain has his fingers in many other pies of which we well know (supporting the black economy).
It's probably a matter of the money pot, and there's a family to support besides four vehicles and a teen at Private School.
We already know that he spends around 250 pounds a week drinking at the local club almost every night of the week and downing around five pints or more on each evening, yet manages to maintain his current lifestyle.
And there's the mystery of why he no longer frequents the Football Club and bar? it would be interesting to know why.
And what about the Leigh Park villainy connection?
Yes, enterprise is certainly useful to the Captain, and having a bit on the side should and could balance the already stretched books!
Mind you, he does need a decent income to support the drinking habit of five to six pints at the local club everyday, which works out at over 200 pounds a week plus, and he regularly gets behind the wheel of his van, more often than not parked in the next road on leaving the club most evenings....and as to being caught drink-driving, no, he's not worried about that....its never happened? and he's been doing the same routine for years without being stopped by the cops.
He's quite an intriguing member of THE LARGE ACRES TRIANGLE.
