Welcome to my home. I live on a small hobby farm in northern Michigan. (A hobby farm is one that costs money instead of making money, but we don't mind because we're doing it for fun.) So I'm sort of a farmer, but not really. I really am a physicist, though. I have a master's degree in Physics and worked as an Air Force physicist specializing in lasers, optics, light, etc. After 25 years in the USAF I retired and moved back to my childhood neighborhood building a home across the road from the house I grew up in. So I'm a farmer, a physicist, and a retired USAF officer. I'm also a Christian, husband, dad, son, brother, friend, author, teacher, former BSA scoutmaster, lumberman, backpacker, fitness enthusiast, nature lover, hunter, and many other things.
Some of you might look at my photo and say I'm an old man. Yes, I'm getting up there now. I'm so old I've begun telling stories of interesting experiences from my life. I can also get going on my many philosophical ideas about life on this planet. This page is a place for me to share some of those stories and ideas. The stories button will take you to some of my favorite life stories. The thoughts button links to a form of blog where I share my ideas. I've written numerous poems and the poems button includes a few. The other two buttons link to books I've written. Godly Personalities explores how our Myers-Griggs personality preference influence our spiritual lives. Evidential Christianity explores what evidence tells me about Christian beliefs.
Enjoy your visit!
