Back on the water

Following the recent aborted dolphin trip, we decided to book something with another company. This time we went with Paradise Dolphin Trips which departs from the nearby pier in Bridge Street. We only got two sightings of dolphins on the whole trip, but whilst that was disappointing, it was great to cruise around the islands in the bay and see the posh houses that face the water.

The last dolphin photo was actually taken from the dock as we got off the boat. A small dolphin was playing near the jetty.

Back on dry land, we thought about going to the pool, however the gates which are controlled by a magnetic fob on our keychains, were not working. Indeed noone could get into the pool area without climbing over the wall. So instead we took the chairs we'd bought from Wal-Mart and headed down to the beach to watch what was probably the best sunset so far.

On checking my video later, I noticed that I'd caught a dolphin swimming past as the sun set. Quite a bit of luck! Check out timeframe at 48 seconds.

Evening meal was at Perkins. We got a bonus in that the waitress owned up to not having put our order in (we hadn't noticed actually) so she gave us some free pie to go at the end of the meal :)
