Today was our shopping day. Linda wanted to head East to the Ellerton Premium Mall, then on to the University Town shopping centre.

The wind has picked up a lot since yesterday, although as we're on the shielded side we didn't notice it until we got down to the car park.

Out the front it's very windy

It was also noticeable on the drive along as the car kept pulling to the side as the wind pushed against it.

As it's mid-October, there's lots of Halloween stuff around, including this big plot selling pumpkins.

It's that time of year

After a quick walk around the Premium Mall we headed back to this place we'd discovered last year - University Town shopping Centre with all the usual place, Macy's, Dillard's and the like.

We got a couple of bits from the big Super Target that's over there too.

Finally, we stopped off at the Cheesecake Factory for something to eat. As it was just before 5pm we were given the choice to have a smaller sized 'lunch' meal. We decided this was a good idea as the portions are usually very large in there.

This is the 'smaller' portion that I got.

Indeed.

Back home just in time for the sunset which was fairly tame by yesterday's standards.
